Linda S.J. Alano

Linda S.J. Alano, age 84, of Newark, DE, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, December 13, 2025.
Born in Maasin, Leyte, Philippines on April 6, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Marcelo G. and Aquilina (Vanzuela) San Juan. Linda married the love of her life, Alfredo Alano and together they raised four children. She worked at the Register of Deeds for more than 30 years until her retirement. Linda then moved to the United States to be closer to her family in Delaware.
Linda enjoyed word search and fill in puzzles. She loved spending time with her family, especially her great-grandson, Roman.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Alfredo C. Alano. She is survived by her children, Peter Alano (Angel), Marymae Alano Tee (Sonny), Jerome Alano (Lorie), and Jhanida Alano Salvador (Reginald); 11 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandson.
All services will be held privately.
