Lois Jean (Wilson) DiMenno
November 13, 1935 - October 12, 2025
Lois Jean (Wilson) DiMenno, age 89, of Middletown, DE, passed away peacefully with loved ones by her side, on Sunday, October 12, 2025.
Born in East Orange, NJ on November 13, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Melvin and Josephine (LeDonne) Wilson. Lois made a career for herself in the telecommunications industry, working as a service representative for Bell Atlantic.
Lois enjoyed sewing and swimming. She was also a Eucharistic Minister and active member of St. Joseph Parish. Lois loved traveling extensively throughout her marriage with her husband, Salvatore. She also was a proud member of Reading Buddies in Sussex County, NJ and Middletown, DE, where she’d volunteer to read for children.
In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 61 years, Salvatore A. DiMenno; son, Michael Nicholas DiMenno; and her brother, Floyd Wilson. She is survived by her children, Anthony DiMenno (Elizabeth), Joseph DiMenno (Connie) and Kathleen Ruffini (John); sister, Maryann Fehon; 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 275 East Main Street, Middletown, DE. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 11:30 am at St. Joseph Parish, 319 East Main Street, Middletown, DE. A committal service will follow in the chapel of Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear, DE.

So very sorry for your loss. Lois was a wonderful lady , loved by all who knew her. We will miss her dearly, especially as we see her empty pew in front of us at St. Joseph’s. She is now with Sal whom she was so lonely without him.
