Lois Marie Lynch, age 83, of New Castle, DE, passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2026.
Born in Wilmington, DE on February 3, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Calvin and Iantha Andrews, Sr. Lois was a waitress who devoted more than 30 years at Denny’s in New Castle. She made many lasting friendships there and dearly loved being a waitress.
Lois enjoyed long and short motorcycle adventures with her husband and their small group of motorcycle friends.
In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Alvin Chrisfield “Chris” Lynch; and several siblings. She is survived by her children, Daniel Lynch (Julie) and Heather Lynch (Bill); grandchildren, Shane Lynch (Jennifer), Josh Moore, and Connor Baca; great-grandson, Daniel Lynch; as well as many neighbors and friends who she considered family.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:30 am until 10:30 am on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a memorial service will begin at 10:30 am. Inurnment will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 North DuPont Highway, New Castle, DE.
