Lynette Harris, age 62, of Townsend, DE, passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2023.
Born in Philadelphia, PA on October 27, 1960, she was a daughter of the late Freddie and Betty Jean Parks. Lynette was a dedicated employee of United Healthcare, where she spent 25 years working as an IT manager. She graduated from Strawberry Mansion High School in Philadelphia and attended LaSalle University.
Lynette could often be found enjoying an old movie at home. In her spare time, she loved eating seafood and talking to her sister Angie for hours at a time. Above all, Lynette cherished the memories she made with her family, especially her grandchildren, who were the apple of her eye.
Lynette was preceded in death by her parents, Freddie and Betty Jean Parks; and sister, Linda Parks. She is survived by her children, Tika Flamer (Jarmara) and Betty Jean Parks; grandchildren, Edward Ellis, Jada Holley, Erin Holley and Jeanette Tucker; sisters, Lorraine Parks, Arlene Coleman, Frederica Lindsay, Angie Brown and Lisa Mclaughlin; and brothers, Jeffery Parks, Freddie Parks and Bernard Parks.
All services will be held privately.
