Marcella I. Yermal

Marcella I. Yermal, age 84, of Belair, MD, passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2018.
Born in Ashley, PA on July 8, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Mary (Chopack) Schiller. Marcella was a registered nurse and worked for Greater Baltimore Medical Center for many dedicated years.
Marcella loved family gatherings and spending precious time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Marcella was preceded in death by her son, Joseph Yermal; and sisters, Marie and Ann. She is survived by her children, Leonard Yermal (Patricia), Stephen Yermal (Stephen Scully) and Robert Yermal (Karen); grandchildren, Michael Freund, Daniel Yermal, Joseph Yermal, Christopher Yermal and Jeffrey Yermal; and great grandchildren, Andrew Freund, Charlotte Yermal and Anna Freund.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 11 am on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at St. Josephs R.C. Church, 371 E Main St, Middletown, DE, where a mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 am. Interment will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marcella’s name to Seasons Hospice, 220 Continental Drive, Suite 3407, Newark, DE 19713.
