Marilyn F. Jackson, age 88, of New Castle, DE, passed away on Monday, July 19, 2021.

Born in Todd, NC on December 22, 1932, she was a daughter of the late John and Ethel Cox. Marilyn worked as a school bus attendant for the Colonial School District for 20 years, retiring in 2003.

She was a collector of all things Mickey Mouse, and loved Dunkin Donuts Coffee. Most of all, she loved her family and the time she spent with them.

In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Garland D. Jackson, II; son, James Jackson; daughter, Patricia Jackson; and brothers, John A. Cox, William W. Cox, and Harry Cox. She is survived by her daughters, Marilyn F. Day and Ethel Scarano; son, Garland D. Jackson, III; 5 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.

All services will be held privately in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear, DE.
