Martin P. Mulshenock

Martin P. Mulshenock, age 65, of New Castle, DE, passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2026.

Born in Wilmington, DE on May 23, 1960, he was the son of the late Richard and Dorothy (McGowan) Mulshenock. Martin began his career as an electrician for IBEW Local 313 in 1984, where he spent over 30 years until his retirement.

Marty enjoyed bowling and spending time outdoors, countless hours fishing and camping. He loved Philly sports and could often be found cheering on the Phillies and Eagles. Marty most recently liked playing bingo with his friends. His greatest joy was spending time at family gatherings with his loved ones.

In addition to his parents, Marty was preceded in death by his sisters, Philomena Trala and Karen Lightfoot; his twin brother, Patrick Mulshenock; his brothers-in-law, Joseph Trala, Charles Klinefelter, and Walter Dych; and his niece, Michelle Dych.

He is survived by his children, Andrew, Brian, and Amy Mulshenock of Washington; siblings, Joanne Klinefelter, Mary Dych, Richard Mulshenock, Jr. (Patricia), Colleen Clark (Allen), and Dorothy Yanacek (Ronald); brother-in-law, Charles Lightfoot; one granddaughter, and a large circle of cherished nieces, nephews, and friends

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 11 am on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:30 am, following the visitation, at Our Lady of Fatima R.C. Church, 801 North DuPont Highway, New Castle, DE. Interment will follow in Cathedral Cemetery, 2400 Lancaster Avenue, Wilmington, DE.
