Mary Ann Price
May 20, 1929 - November 12, 2025
Mary Ann Price, age 96, of Newark, DE, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.
Born in Chester, PA on May 20, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Julia (DiDominicis) Thomas. Mary was a graduate of Chester High School with the class of 1947. She made her career as a floor supervisor at Southeast National Bank for 35 years. Mary spent each Christmas Eve working late so her coworkers could be with their families.
Dedicated to her faith, Mary was a member of Holy Family R.C. Church. She also attended Mass at the Little Sisters of the Poor where she was loved by both the residents and sisters. An avid Philadelphia Phillies fan, Mary looked forward to attending games with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel H. Price. She is survived by her sons, Michael Price (Tracey) and Thomas Price (Lisa); grandchildren, Michael, Taylor (Dylan), Cheyenne, and Josh; and great-grandson, Hunter.
The Price family would like to extend a special thank you to Delaware Hospice for all of their kindness and compassion.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 11 am on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at Holy Family R.C. Church, 15 Gender Road, Newark, DE, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 am. Interment will be held privately in Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery.
