Mary DiCriscio

Mary DiCriscio, age 64, of Wilmington, Delaware, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 7, 2026.

Born in Wilmington on December 18, 1961, Mary was the daughter of the late Joseph and Constance (Harris) Stant. She spent much of her working life as a clerk and cashier, roles that reflected her dependable nature and willingness to help others.

Mary had a love for classic rock—especially Aerosmith—and a deep affection for animals, most notably her late dog, Bear. She loved the beach, had an eye for jewelry, was a great cook, and was known for putting everyone else before herself. True to her roots, you could take the girl out of New Castle, but you could never take New Castle out of the girl. Above all, she was resilient. Despite life’s challenges, she showed strength, perseverance, and heart. She was an amazing grandmother who loved her grandchildren fiercely and took great pride in them.

Mary is survived by her daughters, Danielle DiCriscio (Kaitlin) and Nicole DiCriscio (Tommy); her sister, Katherine Gardner; her grandchildren, Kennity Huisenga, Kameran DiCriscio, and Indi Jones; her niece and nephew, Joey and Jenna Gardner; and her cousin, Daniel Eppler.

Services will be held privately.
