Mary E. Karl

Mary E. Karl, age 69, of Newark, DE, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 26, 2025.
Born in Port Huron, MI, on April 20, 1956, she was a daughter of the late Daniel D. and Catherine A. (Schwartz) Karl. Mary was a graduate of Christiana High School and made her career as a manager in the domestics department at Boscovs, where she dedicated over ten years of service. A devout catholic, she was a member of Holy Family R.C. Church. Mary enjoyed spending her time visiting flea markets, where she loved browsing and discovering unique finds.
She is survived by her siblings, Judith A. McCorkle, Thomas M. Karl and Richard F. Karl; nieces and nephews; feline companions, Chloe and Sweetie; and parrot, Pedro.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, October 2, 2025, in All Saints Cemetery, 6001 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, Delaware.
