Mary Earline Gaul

Mary Earline Gaul, age 84, of Elsmere, DE, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021.

Born in Madison, NC on April 2, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Wanna McGaha and Margaret Cliff. Earline started her professional career at Hercules in research and development, then retired after 20 years. After retiring, she dedicated 10 years as an administrative assistant for the Red Clay School District. Earline enjoyed working in her yard, spending time with her cats and caring for her grandchildren. She was always ready to lend a helping hand and didn’t shy away from giving to others. Earline will be dearly missed by the many lives she touched, and remembered as a loving individual.

Earline is survived by her children, Mary Mashington (Steve) and Jody Lewis (Cherie); sister, Dotty Pharis (Bob); 6 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 11 am until 12 noon on Thursday, January 14, 2021, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, followed by a funeral service at 12 noon. Interment will be held in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE. Face masks will be required for all in attendance.
