Mary Jane Moore, age 85, of Hartly, DE, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, July 11, 2021.
Born in Wilmington, DE on January 6, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Norman and Ann (Patterson) McClaren. Mary Jane was a homemaker who loved raising her family. She was always taking care of others and was deeply loved by everyone she met. Mary Jane had an incredibly loving heart that enriched the lives of many. She enjoyed babysitting and being a caregiver.
Mary Jane was an avid fan of watching ‘Murder She Wrote’ and ‘Golden Girls’. Family was most important to her.
In addition to her parents, Mary Jane was preceded in death by her siblings, Elizabeth Tielleman and Donald McClaren. She is survived by her sons, John Moore and his wife Robin and James Moore; grandson, Dustin Moore; granddaughter, Jessica Kenny; great-grandson, Cooper Kenny; great-granddaughter, Zoey Moore, and many nieces and nephews.
All services will be held privately.
