Maureen was such an important person in my life. Growing up she always provided support and guidance, as well as acceptance. I will cherish all my memories of the numerous visits and conversations had throughout the years. You introduced me to the bad Heart, who I still love today. Your spirit will live on through all of us whom you touched with your warmth and generosity. I send all my condolences to your husband Chuck, Aunt Lorraine, and all your children.

To Lorraine, Chuck and family,
Although I haven’t seen Maureen in a long time, we stayed connected.

My dear cool “older” friend from our Lewes beach childhood days. Thanks for all the extra ice cream at the DQ. I remember bonfires and first crushes. Then came the love of your life, Chuck.
Then we became neighbors and had many conversations about Christopher and Lacy, and being boy Moms. Our OLF days were fun—bazaars you chaired, being den mothers together and watching our kids play in the bay like we did as kids. My accountant, and dear lifetime friend. I will remember you always. ❤️
Love and condolences to Chuck, Sean, Kevin and Michael Adam and their families, Mrs. Grier, Bobby and Stevie. Her grandchildren and entire family are in our prayers.

My husband Bob and I didn’t have the pleasure of knowing Maureen, but we are friends with her brother Steve and Sister in law Theresa. We are so sorry for your loss. Losing a sibling is s a difficult thing to go through. We hope that through the support of friends and family we can help ease your pain just a little. With deepest sympathy to the entire Grier family.

So greatly sadden to hear that the Mullins/Grier family has lost one of the most thoughtful, kind loving souls we have met. We so lovingly referred to as the Pope. Many prayers for the Mullins/Grier family. May your beautiful memories bring you some peace.

I am so sad to hear of Maureen’s passing. My heart goes out to her family especially her Mom, Lorraine, who was a role model and second mother to me as a young girl. Maureen and I were friends beginning in grade school at Our Lady of Fatima, continuing through high school at St Mark’s and onto the College of Notre Dame in Baltimore. We learned to danced together at sleepovers in the basement of her house in Penn Acres, and celebrated our 8th grade graduation with several fun days at her home in Lewes. I have many fond memories of the times we spent together. Maureen was a strong powerful light in the world; her presence will be missed by many. I send my love and condolences from Florida.

My broken-heart is keeping Maureen’s family in my prayers.
Especially Chuck, the boys, Lorraine, Steven and Theresa and their family.
Maureen and I have been best friends for 30 years. She adopted me as the little sister she never had. Like siblings we shared lots of laughs, supported each other in hard times and celebrated the good times. We even fought like siblings once in a while but we always knew we loved each other.
She was a loyal friend who was always there and willing to help when needed. Her gifts were always thoughtful, she was a good listener and she usually gave sound advice. When I didn’t take the advice she would still be there for me the next time.
She crocheted many baby blankets for family and friends. In recent years. she enjoyed making flower arrangements for Our Lady of Fatima church.
She enjoyed collecting snowmen and any decorations that professed her LOVE for Chocolate!
She definitely loved being in charge of whatever organization she was working with. She wore her Queen “B” shirt with pride.
She told me she volunteered us to be in charge of a booth for this years Christmas bizarre at the senior center. She missed the days of Fatima and felt the center needed her direction. We laughed and said she would be running the whole thing in a few years.
There is too much for me to share here. This is already a long note.
I will miss my friend. I’m pretty sure she is going to be saving us a spot on the beach in heaven.

Dear Chuck, My wife came home from work and told me of Maureen’s passing. It’s been so long since we saw you and Maureen. (Maybe at Eddie Watson’s funeral) ? I didn’t even recall that you guys had adult children let alone grand children. Please know I’m thinking about all of you.
