Michael Allen Foley, age 32, of Townsend, DE, passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021.
Born in Newark, DE on December 26, 1988, he was a son of Diane L. (Rocco) Wilson. As a young man, Michael worked as a skilled carpenter in the construction industry, recently gaining experience as a cook in the Middletown area. He was a talented artist who loved to draw and enjoyed reading. Animals held a special place in his heart. Michael will always be in our hearts and on our minds. He was a beloved son, brother, nephew, and cousin who will be missed beyond measure.
Michael was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Michael M. Rocco and maternal great uncle, Benjamin Civitello. He is survived by his mother, Diane L. (Rocco) Wilson (Kenneth) of Lake Havasu City, AZ; brother, Richard A. Foley (Sarah Reeves) of Purcellville, VA; step-siblings, Kenneth Wilson, Jr. of Port Deposit, MD, James Wilson and Christina Watson, both of Wilmington; aunt, Chele Collas of Townsend; cousins, Dawn Taylor of Townsend and Steven Francisco of Wilmington; second cousins, Noah D. Taylor and Robin Civitello Puopolo; and uncles, Michael Rocco of Newark and Fane Lauer (Mary) of Clayton.
Services and interment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Michael’s memory to Faithful Friends Animal Society, 12 Germay Drive, Wilmington, Delaware 19804.
