Michael Gerard “Mike” Feichtinger

Michael Gerard “Mike” Feichtinger, age 66, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2026.
Born in Omaha, Nebraska on March 9, 1960, Mike remained a proud lifelong Cornhusker fan throughout the years. He had a long career in horse racing and spent many years involved in the sport and community he cared deeply about. Throughout his career, Mike formed many lasting friendships and connections within the racing community. Outside of racing, he enjoyed spending time on the golf course and was happiest sharing the game and camaraderie that came with it. Above all, Mike was most proud of his daughter and grandchildren, who brought him great joy throughout his life.
He is survived by his daughter, Hayley Dunham (Michael); and his beloved grandchildren, Trip and Claire Dunham. He is also survived by his brothers, Matthew, Mark, and Martin Feichtinger and their families; and his sister, Mary McGuire and her family.
Mike was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Feichtinger, and his mother, Mary Jean (Skudlarek) Feichtinger.
Memorial services are being planned and will be announced at a later time.
Mike will be remembered by family, friends, and the many people whose lives he touched throughout the years.
