November 12, 1981 - January 5, 2021

Michael Joseph Bandy-Pistory, passed away suddenly in the comfort of his own home on Tuesday, January 5, 2021, at the age of 39.

Born in Philadelphia on November 12, 1981, he was a son of the late Michael and Marianne Pistory. Michael graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in Hotel Management and continued his career in the hospitality industry. He had an excellent work ethic and was admired by his coworkers. Michael was a dedicated father and loving husband that put his family first. He was an incredibly caring man whose heart was filled with kindness. Michael would do anything for anyone.

As an ardent Philadelphia sports fan, he never missed a game and it was a shared enthusiasm with his twin brother. Michael also had a fondness for Marvel comic books, superheroes, Harry Potter, and Star Wars which he shared with his younger brother. His hidden talent was creative writing, and he took pride in having a short story published. Michael was all about Disney, and he shared this passion equally with the Pistory family, forming many cherished lifelong memories.

Michael never denied who he was and had the courage to openly live his life to the fullest.

He is survived by his devoted husband, Brian; son, Dakota; siblings, twin brother, Stephen J. Pistory (Kaitlin) and younger brother, Joseph H. Pistory (Lauren); brother-in-law, Anthony Fontanez (Jamie); and several loving aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins.
