Nancy Jane (Hook) Wilson
September 20, 1942 - February 13, 2024
Nancy Jane (Hook) Wilson, age 81, of New Castle, DE, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, February 13, 2024.
Born in Chester, PA on September 20, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Walter Hook and Florence “Winnie” (Rash) Carucci. Nancy was a graduate of Chichester High School. While living in Chester, she worked for her mom and stepfather at their bar and sub shop. Later, Nancy worked as a secretary at Fiduks Industrial for over 20 years as well as a waitress for Ches-del and Dempsey’s.
In her spare time, Nancy enjoyed reading and visiting the beach. She loved attending and watching dog shows, and especially loved Boxers.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her sons, Marc Wilson and Philip Riddle; stepfather, Philip Carucci; brother, William Hook; great-granddaughter, Kayleanna Riddle; and former husband, Thomas Wilson. She is survived by her daughters, Melissa Wilson (Damon) and Loma Caracciolo (Rocco); 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchildren.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 3 pm until 4 pm on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE. Interment will be held privately.
