Nancy L. Griffith

Nancy L. Griffith, age 67, a lifelong resident of Delaware, passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025.
Born in Wilmington, DE on February 1, 1958, she was a daughter of the late Travis and Doris (Faulkner) Griffith.
Nancy spent most of her life working in environmental services, contributing to her community with dedication and pride. Her kindness and fun-loving nature touched the lives of many, and she was always known for her open heart and generosity.
Devoted to her family, Nancy cherished every moment spent with them. She had a unique ability to make others feel welcome and loved, offering warmth and care to those around her. Nancy enjoyed dancing and spending a leisurely day out shopping. She often looked forward to family gatherings and would always be sure to bring the potato salad.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence “Skip” Griffith and 10 siblings. Nancy will be dearly missed by her daughters, Sabrina and Casey Griffith; grandchildren, Shane, Juliana, Julian, Shyann, Joslynn, Aubrey, and Sunny; and brother, Dennis Griffith.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 2 pm until 3 pm on Wednesday, Mach 19, 2025, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a memorial service will begin at 3 pm. Interment will be held privately.

Nancy, you were such an awesome person. I remember all the times coming to Tulip st, and being most excited to see you. You always had that ability to make sure people remembered you because of how nice you always were. Heaven gained an angel. I know you’re going to have one heck of a party up there.
