Norann H. Wentz

Norann H. Wentz, age 75, of Wilmington, DE, departed this life on Wednesday, June 14, 2023.

Born in Baltimore, MD on September 9, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Wilbur Burras and Blanche (Collins) Klein. Norann was raised by her Aunt Anna and Uncle Abe Haber in Llangollen Estates, DE. She was a graduate of William Penn High School and later from Harcum College in Philadelphia, PA. Norann started her career as a buyer for the John Wanamaker stores and later served as the advertising director for 140 Hallmark Stores. Her last employment was with John Rollins Sr. businesses as an administrative assistant.

Norann’s favorite activities included golf and cruising as well as driving her Corvette.

In addition to her parents, Norann was preceded in death by her sister, Pat. She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Allen J. Wentz, Jr.; sister, Diane Geyer (Ernie); and niece, Jamie Hendersen (John).

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 11 am until 1 pm on Friday, June 23, 2023, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE. Services and interment will be held privately.
