Noreen Ann Farrow (nee Arnold), March 6, 1935 – July 14, 2020, passed away unexpectedly at Village Veranda at Lady Lake, Florida, where she resided while recuperating from heart surgery.

Noreen is survived by her five children: Richard Farrow (Tracey), Sandra Farrow, LuAnn Schafer (Alan), Joseph Farrow III, William Farrow (Teresa); sister, Rochelle Thompson (Wesley); 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Noreen was preceded in death by her loving husband of 38 years, Joseph H. Farrow Jr.; two sons, Shawn Michael Farrow and Tracy Lee Farrow (Jennifer); sister, Ruth Arnold; brothers, Charles and Vladimir Klenotiz; and stepmother, Tillie Arnold.

Noreen and her husband raised their seven children in Claymont, DE, and were active members and supporters of CYAA, spending countless hours running the concessions for the program. Their home was always open to friends and family. Upon retirement, Noreen and her sister Ruth retired to The Villages, Florida. Noreen enjoyed many years of travel with her dear friend Joyce Quintal, as well as Ladies Softball, golf, Senior Olympics and Polo Club. She enjoyed greatly the friendship and camaraderie of the ladies sports teams.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:30 am until 11:30 am on Friday, May 7, 2021, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 275 East Main Street, Middletown, DE, followed by a memorial service at 11:30 am. Interment will follow in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear, DE. Face masks will be required for all in attendance.

  • Mrs. Farrow, aka Mom, was a special lady. So many kids, so many memories. She always found time to love each and everyone and still had room for me in the mix. We all miss you.
