We are sad to announce the passing of Norman Joseph Davis, Jr., age 70, of Newark, DE. Norman passed away on March 20, 2023 surrounded by his family after a brief, but courageous battle with cancer.

He graduated from Delcastle Technical High School in 1971 as a machinist apprentice. Norman was an avid sports fan and loved to collect sports memorabilia. His favorite sport was baseball, and he loved watching the Phillies and attending Phillies games as often as possible.Β  Norman also loved to travel and especially enjoyed visiting the Caribbean Islands. In his later years, Norman loved spending time with his two dogs, whom he loved and adored more than anything.

In addition to his parents, Norman was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Davis in September 2020. Β He is survived by his children, Sherri Brooks (Russell), Kim Zoladkiewicz, Gina Davis, and Nicholas Davis; faithful four-legged companions ~ Whiskey and Ava; grandchildren, Bryce, Brandon, Emilee, Tripp, Kenzie, Brayden, Elijah, and his soon-to-be grandson due in May; and brothers, Mike Davis (Shelia) and Bucky Davis (Frannie).
