It is with sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Oscar John Watson, Jr., on November 5, 2024. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Jenett and two sons, Jonathan and Jason Watson.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 11 am on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 275 East Main Street, Middletown, Delaware, where a funeral service will begin at 11 am. The family requests that guests wear casual clothing or wear their favorite sports team attire. Interment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Oscar’s memory to Minquadale Fire Company, P.O. Box 647 Manor Branch, New Castle, DE 19720.

So sorry to hear of Oscar’s passing. I will always remember him as a good neighbor with a quick wit and a great sense of humor. I will miss seeing him working in the front yard and sitting on the bench in front of the house.

Man damn I’m a miss Mr Oscar he sold me my first car he put me in the game and helped me get my first real job out of college when no one wanted to hire me it was all love every time I saw him.
