It’s been a hell of a ride since I meet you at Del City crude unit control room telling me to “get out” to filling in for you as the clerk and trying to figure out this “SchedulePro” nonsense. Such a tough ass lady with an absolute heart of gold. While my shins may not always miss you, I certainly will. God bless.

My deepest condolences to the entire Sterling family.
when I first met Patti she was an A operator at the Crude Unit, she was always willing to help and share her knowledge. She didn’t mind preparing an occasional meal for her crew, which was always an enjoyable experience.
Patti will be missed and remembered by so many.

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Patti for about 39 years most of them at the crude unit. Like so many people said Patti was a tough woman but inside she had the heart of gold, and would help anyone that needed help. I had the pleasure of knowing Patti’s sister Terrie and her brother Larry. I remember our talks many days and Patti told me about her life growing up in Delaware City. Just recently my wife had fun talking to Patti at the crab feast.
I love you Patti and I will miss you very much.
I know you are at rest in your heavenly reward, you fought the good fight and you won the race. I look forward to the day we will meet again.
To the Sterling family, our deepest sympathy.
Rest in peace dear friend.

To the whole Sterling family, I am truly sorry for your loss. Patti started out as a new client to me. She scared the tar out of me at first ( “she told me “If you f#*k up my hair I’ll kick your a$$” )but quickly showed her true heart and became a great friend. I’m really going to miss all of our laughs, talking about food and your dog. I am truly going to miss you Patti 💕
