Patricia Ann Webb

Patricia Ann Webb, a beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to many, left this world and was welcomed into the arms of our Lord on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 in Hockessin, DE.

Patricia, known as Pat for all her life, was born on February 22, 1937, in Glen Ridge, NJ, welcomed into this world by her loving parents, Margaret and Joseph Steady, and older brother, Joe. She would in time marry her husband of over 40 years and settle in Cape May Court House, NJ.

Pat and her husband, Ed, would go on to raise six children and be an integral part of their community until she permanently moved to DE in 2005. While in south Jersey, Patricia managed and owned several restaurants, and eventually owned a shoe store in Wildwood, NJ. She is survived by five of her children, Kathleen, Maria, Joe, Mike and Ed, her niece Maureen, and a host of grand-children and grand-dogs, who remember her with joy and love. A consummate hostess, she is also remembered by the many adults and children in south Jersey and Delaware who spent hours at her home, as well as the many friends she made when she moved to Delaware, and her long time friend and business partner, Jimmy.

Pat and Jimmy opened Fashion Link in 1984, and their clientele grew to include people from all across DE and beyond. It is safe to say that, if you were born in New Castle County from 1984 through the early 2000s and your ears were pierced as a baby, Pat did the piercing and you probably didn’t even cry! She was generous with her time, expertise, and home. Her friends knew they could count on her and they would be welcome at her table.

Pat will be dearly remembered by the people who cared for her in the final years of her life at Regal Heights Rehabilitation Center. Known for being a highly social and friendly resident, Pat continued to touch others’ lives right up until she bid us goodbye. She is certainly looking down on the care team of the B wing at Regal Heights – and at all the people there – with a grateful and caring smile.

In saying goodbye to Patricia Ann Webb, we celebrate the life of a loving wife and mom, aunt and grandmom, a caring sister and daughter, a successful and friendly business person, and a kind and genuine caregiver to her community. Pat’s memory will be held very dear in our hearts as we recall the love and light she created in the world around her.

Pat’s family will be holding a private service.
