Patricia Geralyn “Patty” Perry

Patricia Geralyn “Patty” Perry, age 64, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, January 11, 2022.

Born in Philadelphia, PA on December 14, 1957, she was a daughter of Ellen M. (Bennett) Perry and the late Elmer M. Perry. Patty was a graduate of West Philadelphia Catholic Girls High School. She worked as a billing manager for the Perinatology practice at Pennsylvania Hospital and later for the Department of Psychiatry at Jefferson Hospital.

Patty deeply loved her family, especially her nieces and nephews, and cherished spending time with them. She had a big heart and prayed for everyone and anyone who needed prayers. Patty enjoyed taking trips to the beach, dining out and cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles. She had a great sense of humor and sarcasm that will be greatly missed.

In addition to her father, Patty was preceded in death by her sister, Helen Perry; and nephew, Christopher. She is survived by her siblings, Anne Giles (Bill), Thomas Perry, James Perry (Lisa), and Margaret Davis (Tim); and nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Cara, Sean, Laurie, Kayla, Julia, Matthew, Andrew, Abby, Alex, Isabelle, Ava, Aiden, and Jordynn.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 9 am until 10 am on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 1404 South 3rd Street, Philadelphia, PA, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am. Face coverings will be required for all those in attendance regardless of their vaccination status. Inurnment will follow in Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery, 1600 South Sproul Road, Springfield, PA.  

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Patty’s memory to Seasons Hospice, 220 Continental Drive, Ste 101, Newark, DE 19713.

    We shared a birth year, First Communion Day, Confirmation Day, sixth grade homeroom and many fun times on Hatfield Street in plus family in picnics. Enjoy your reunion with your Dad and little sister.
    To my family I regret that I can not be with you! Airplane rides with recycled air and COVID frighten me. I also have been around a dozen or so cases here.
