Patricia L. “Pat” Hopkins - Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Homes & Crematory

Patricia L. “Pat” Hopkins

January 29, 1954 - January 29, 2024

Patricia L. “Pat” Hopkins, age 70, of Millsboro, DE, gained her wings on Monday, January 29, 2024 surrounded by the ones she loved most.

Born in West New York, NJ on January 29, 1954, she was a daughter of the late Irving and Philomina (Donofrio) Cohn. Pat was a graduate of North Bergen High School in New Jersey with the class of 1972. She made her career working as a translation administrator at Verizon Communications, where she retired from.

Pat always looked forward to the summer time and warm weather. She would spend her summer days soaking up the sunshine by the pool with her grandchildren at the Indian River Yacht Club. She also loved the beach and boating with her family and friends. She loved to listen to music and belt out her favorite songs. Pat was most proud of her family. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who was always there when needed. Pat treasured her children and grandchildren and embraced every moment with them. She also enjoyed helping others as a devoted past member of the Wilmington Manor Ladies Auxiliary. She was adored by all who knew her. Her ability to find the sunlight, even on the darkest days, will be greatly missed.

In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald T. Hopkins, Jr. She is survived by her children, Tracy Pawlikowski (TJ), Thomas Kermode (Carla), and Ronald Hopkins III (Karen); grandchildren, Kaylee Pawlikowski, Ellie Pawlikowski, Rylee Kermode, Brittni Hopkins (Ryan), Amanda Hopkins, Renee Kermode (Dan), Rianna Pierce (Jeff), and Robert Pierce (Felicia); and great-grandchild, Brantley.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 4 pm until 5:30 pm on Friday, February 9, 2024, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 275 East Main Street, Middletown, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 5:30 pm. Interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pat’s memory to the Wilmington Manor Fire Company, P.O. Box 645, New Castle, DE 19720 or online by clicking here.
