September 28, 1934 - April 3, 2018

Patricia Rae Jester, age 83, of Bear, DE, passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2018, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Wilmington, DE on September 28, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Heinz and Myrtle (Walbert) Fisher.  Pat was a proud graduate of Wilmington High School, class of 1952.  She maintained honor roll all four years and was selected to the American Legion Girls State in Delaware.  Pat also participated as a drum major/baton twirler and was a cheerleader.

­­­­­­­­­­­­­Pat enjoyed playing the piano and was an avid reader.  She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her son, Brian P. Jester.  She is survived by her husband, Clarke V. Jester; children, Dianne Pizzi (Joseph) of Doylestown, PA, Raymond J. Jester of Germany and Deborah C. Jester of Wilmington; grandchildren, Stacie Shaughnessy, Nicole Kuczynski, Ashley Pizzi, Amanda Femano and Emily Pizzi; and 7 great-grandchildren.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 11 am on Friday, April 6, 2018 at Gracelawn Memorial Park Chapel, 2220 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, where a funeral service will begin at 11 am.  Interment will immediately follow.
