Paul R. Alexander, age 69, of Elkton, MD, passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2023.

Born in Philadelphia, PA on August 18, 1954, he was a son of the late Walter James and Ruth Ollie (Puckett) Alexander, Jr. Paul worked for PPG Industries in Folcroft, PA and part time for a security company at The New Castle Farmers Market. On the side, he would do DJ and karaoke.  Paul met his wife, June, through his sister, Beverly and they married on October 30, 1972.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his son, Scott P. Alexander; sister, Ruth; and brothers, James and Russell Alexander. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, June I. Alexander; children, Pamela E. Grable, April M. Peck; and Christopher R. Alexander; 9 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 11 am on Friday, January 12, 2024, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 11 am. Interment will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 North DuPont Highway, New Castle, DE.

  • My condolences to June and the family. Paul did so much for me when Chas passed and never did I think Paul would join Chas in heaven this soon. I will never forget all the fun times we had. Paul I will miss you and I will always be there for June and the rest of the family.
