Mrs. Paula Johnson, age 47, of Bear, DE, passed away on Sunday, September 23, 2012, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Carbondale, PA, on October 15, 1964, Paula made her career as a professional hair stylist and had a very loyal clientele at several local salons.
Paula devoted her life to caring for her beloved family and especially delighted in spending time with her precious granddaughter. In her leisure hours, she greatly enjoyed beach vacations and boating.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 28 years, Donald E. Johnson; son, Eric Johnson (fiancée, Kelly Humberton) of New Castle; daughter, Katrina L. Johnson of Bear; granddaughter, Anabelle Johnson; father, Paul T. Mosher of Newark; sisters, Colleen A. Ramone (Buddy) of Bear, Bonnie A. Uffelman (Kevin) of Townsend, Patty Eckton (Robert) of New Castle, and Lisa Marie Manners (Dave) of Elsmere; mother-in-law, Lynn Alexander of Lewes; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Theresa Sandra Vadala Mosher.
Visitation will be held from 6 pm to 8 pm on Friday, September 28th, at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 am on Saturday, September 29th, at Holy Spirit R.C. Church, 12 Winder Road, Garfield Park, New Castle. Interment will be held privately.
