Raymond Aubert Frederique

Raymond Aubert Frederique, age 75, of New Castle, DE, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, July 6, 2017.

Born in Jacmel, Haiti on December 13, 1941, Raymond was one of ten children of the late Pierre Fernand Frederique and Esperance (St. Jean) Frederique. He worked for many years as a custodian.

In his leisure time, Raymond enjoyed listening to music, dancing, and tinkering with electronics. More than anything, he adored spending time with his family, and especially loved playing with his grandchildren. Raymond was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and great grandfather who will be very dearly missed.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Rose Raymonde (Roche) Frederique; children, Gina Frederique of New Castle, Robert Frederique (Tahmina) of Raleigh, NC, Pierre Frederique (Roberta) of Media, PA, Dominique Frederique (Regeane) of New Castle, Gilbert Frederique (Dena) of Queens, NY, and Charles Frederique of Orange, NJ; 6 sisters; 15 grandchildren; 2 great grandsons; and countless nieces and nephews whom he loved very much.

Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30 am on Saturday morning, July 8, 2017, at Our Lady of Fatima R.C. Church, 801 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:30 am until 10:30 am. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery, 6001 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE.
