Renée Santoro, age 84, of Landenberg, PA, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Friday, May 12, 2023.
Born in Wilmington, DE on October 22, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Arletta (Fenton) Leverage. Renée was a graduate of A.I. DuPont High School. My dear aunt Renee,
You will always be one of the strongest, and hardest working women, I’ve known. I watched you over these many years, as you built your horse boarding business, and making your “dream” come true.
What an inspiration you are. I love you very much. Please give my mother a hug for me.
Your loving niece,
Valerie

Please accept our most sincere condolences for the loss of Renne.
It’s been awhile, but we remember her joyful personality and wonderful sense of humor.
Renne was a very kind and personable lady who helped make anyone in her company feel welcome and at ease.
The following days will be difficult Art, but remember all those wonderful memories are yours forever.

Art and family,
I am sorry to hear of Renee’s passing. She was kind, loving, and quick to laugh….a fun person to be around. She had a soft spot for people and horses, especially those with challenges in their lives. For years, she took care of a horse that had been abandoned on her farm (a real menace that caused a lot of problems) until the horse found his forever home. She had a heart of gold. Big hugs to all who are surely missing her.
