Rhonda M. Walker, age 66, of Newark, DE, passed away on Friday, August 2, 2024.

Born in Camp Lejeune, NC, on September 22, 1957, she was the daughter of the late George and Marie (St. Pierre) DiGuardi. Rhonda dedicated over 28 years in the chemical manufacturing industry as a production operator for DuPont Co.

Rhonda loved sitting next to her mother playing the slot machines together at casinos. She was an avid Washington Redskins fan and you’d find her in the living room every Sunday cheering on her favorite team. Rhonda enjoyed vacationing and taking road trips with her lifelong friends, Beth and Kim. What she loved more than anything else was spending quality time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Michael Schrader (Becky), Theresa Schrader (Brandon) and Ryan Walker (Kristen); brothers, Mark and Gary DiGuardi; and grandchildren, Mark, Kiersten, Winter, Jaleyce, Mikenna, Jalynn, George, Addison and Nolan.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 11 am on Friday, August 23, 2024, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 West Park Place, Newark, DE, where a memorial service will begin at 11 am. Interment will be held privately.
