Richard L. Caldeira

Richard L. Caldeira, age 68, of New Castle, DE, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Monday, October 6, 2025.

Born in Lynnwood, CA on March 27, 1957, he was a son of the late Richard Caldeira and Mary (Prater) Gamble. Richard proudly served in the United States Air Force. He made his career as a manager at Transit Air Cargo.

Richard enjoyed spending his free time exercising or outside in the sunshine. He could often be found watching movies and TV shows.

In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Caldeira. He is survived by his brother, Rocky Caldeira; and sister, Deborah Solis (Ken).

All services will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Richard’s memory to a charity of the donor’s choice.
