Richard Sean Abbott, age 61, of Wilmington, DE, passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2023.
Born in Wilmington, DE on December 30, 1961, he was a son of the late Eugene and Ann (Myers) Abbott, Sr. Richard was a graduate of Delcastle High School and furthered his education at Wilmington College. He worked at Hercules for 28 years and then went to work for Chase as a as a computer programmer. Richard enjoyed spending his spare time with his nieces and nephews and was an avid reader.
Richard is survived by his siblings, Eugene Abbott, Jr. (Regina), Ray Abbott (Margie), Dennis Abbott, and Ann Pinghera; and several nieces, and nephews.
All services will be held privately.

I am sorry to hear about Richards passing away. We kept in touch by phone. We went to Delcastle Technical High together. We were in RTV class together. We had a great bunch of guys in our class. Me and Richard talked about getting the RTV gang together. Shame we never had a chance. Been few years since I seen him in person. The guys from RTV will miss him.
