Robert Frank “Rob” Wilson
August 26, 1949 - December 28, 2022
Robert Frank “Rob” Wilson, age 73, of Lewisville, PA, previously of Newark, DE and New York City, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 of natural causes.
Born in Oxford, PA on August 26, 1949, he was the son of Claudine (Waddell) Bucci and the late Robert T. Wilson. Rob and his family moved to Newark early in his life. He exhibited great artistic ability starting at a young age. His artistic endeavors continued throughout his life. After graduating from Newark High School (1967) and obtaining a Fine Arts degree from the University of Delaware (1972) Rob moved to New York City, where he successfully pursued a career in commercial art. Rob enjoyed traveling and had a keen interest in collecting antiques and sculptures.
Rob moved to Lewisville, PA later in life where he continued to enjoy painting, drawing, and driving around the Oxford and Newark countryside. He volunteered at the Newark Historical Society and enjoyed learning about his hometown. Rob loved flowers and animals, especially his beloved cat Freda. He also kept turtles, finches, and a small collection of blue hens.
Rob’s kindness, generosity, and ability to make others laugh were cherished by his family and many friends. He will be sorely missed.

He is survived by his former spouse and lifelong best friend, Barbara Wise; mother, Claudine Bucci; sisters, Joan Loewenstein (Peter) and Melanie Wilson Eleuterio (Michael Munroe); daughter, Stacy Lyon Gutierrez (Oscar); nieces, Francesca and Christina Ciarrocchi and Natalie Eleuterio Frentzel; nephew, Robert Eleuterio (Suki); grandchildren, Henry and Eva Rose Gutierrez; grandnephew, Edison Frentzel; and grand nieces, Mishka and Luna Eleuterio.

To My Brother
I thought of you with love today
But that is nothing new
I thought about you yesterday
And the day before that too.
I think of you in silence
I often speak your name
All I have are memories
And your picture in a frame.
Your memory is my keepsake
With which I’ll never part
God has you in his keeping
I have you in my heart.

Robert,
You became one of my best friends and I loved visiting you because you were always so welcoming and positive. I miss you and will be sad when the house is gone with so much of you evident in the trees and flowers that remain. I love so much of your artwork particularly the studies of color in the master bedroom. Rest in peace.
Michele
Rob- thank you for being the sweetest and most entertaining neighbor ever. Missing all of our conversations about life but so thankful for the friendship we shared the last few years. Rest in peace my friend.
