  • My sincerest condolences for your family’s loss. Roger was an amazing person in so many ways and I will be forever grateful to have been a part of his life. I was always happy to see him and Pat when they made their daily visit at Airport News. They were such a joy and always greeted us with “hello good people!” To me they were more than customers, they were my friends. When Pat passed and Roger worked at the store I could always depend on him to make me laugh and to ask me a million questions (he was always so inquisitive). He never missed a birthday, never forgot a name or a face, treated every person with so much respect, and knew EVERYONE in Delaware! I appreciate the phone conversation we shared just before his passing where we were able to have one last laugh and he knew how much he was cared for. Rest easy Roger. Send Pat my love.

We are so shocked of his passing beyond words. Going in and seeing Roger he would brighten up the day and make us forget any of your own problems. He was always so much fun to talk to and joke around with. His positive energy rubbed off on you where you didn’t want to leave. We all truly feel as Roger was part of our family not the great friend he was to us.
