Ronald P. Carroll, age 81, of New Castle, DE, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 3, 2021.
Born in Wilmington, DE, on November 13, 1940, he was a son of the late Norman and Pauline (Munzert) Carroll, Sr. Ronald worked as a bartender for many years until his retirement. In his spare time, he enjoyed traveling and spending time at the beach. More than anything, Ronald loved his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Margaret Ellis, Pauline King, Barbara Kemp, and William Carroll. Ronald is survived by his siblings, Francis J. Carroll, Sr., Norman W. Carroll (Marie); and Elizabeth Hastings (Doug); and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 11 am on Monday, December 13, 2021, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a memorial service will begin at 11 am. Face coverings will be required for all those in attendance not immunized with the COVID-19 vaccine. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery, 3300 North Street, Wilmington, DE.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Ronald’s memory to Holy Spirit R.C. Church, 12 Winder Road, New Castle, DE 19720.

I’m Sorry to hear about Ronnie, he was a Great Guy, I have such Fond Memories of him back from the Renn day’s.. He always put a smile on my Face.. I used to run into him from time to time….

Ronnie you will be missed! You were always the central cog in the wheel at the Renaissance. Always showed up early to open the bar for the show and got us what we needed. Always a big smile. Tuff when needed. Id often see you at other places we frequented for long conversations over gay issues. Haven’t seen you in a long while but Im glad your at peace. RIP Ronnie…and thanks for all you did!!
