Rosemarie (Corelli) Banes, age 75, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2025, in her home in New Castle De.

Born at Nazareth Hospital in Northeast Philadelphia on November 30, 1950, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Marie (Sailer) Corelli and grew up in Croydon Pa. She earned an associate’s degree in business administration from Weidner University in 1996. During Rosemarie’s career she worked as a medical transcriptionist and an executive secretary.

Beloved daughter and mother, Rosemarie had a variety of interests and was happy, curious and playful. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. She welcomed and accepted all people. She practiced golf and ballroom dancing, enjoyed dancing the New York Hustle, was interested in fashion and had a passion for shopping at the mall.

In addition to her parents, Daniel and Marie (Sailer) Corelli, Rosemarie was preceded in death by her brothers, Daniel Corelli Jr. and John Corelli.  She is survived by her son, John Banes (fiancé, Deanne Hinerman); grandchildren, Emily Banes and Daniel Banes; and siblings, Patrick Corelli Sr. (Marie Curran Corelli) and Dolores Thompson (fiancé, Steve Grantham).

Family and friends are invited to attend burial services beginning at 12:00 PM on Saturday January 10 in the Resurrection Cemetery, Hulmeville Rd, Bensalem, PA 19020. A celebration of life will be scheduled in the coming months so that family and friends unable to attend her burial may join in remembering her.
