Ruth B. Diehl

Ruth B. Diehl, age 97, of Newark, DE, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Sunday, June 28, 2026.
Born in Trenton, NJ on March 24, 1929, she was a daughter of the late J. Edmund and Carrie K. (Ayars) Burk. She was employed by the International Reading Association until her retirement at age 62.
Ruth was a past member of the Lady Bug Quilters and the Brandywine Decorative Painters.
In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her first husband, Stephen R. Urban and her second husband, Bruce L. Diehl. She is survived by her daughter, Suzanne U. Mullen, grandson, Daniel F. Mullen III, granddaughter, Meggan E. Mullen, grandchildren, Destiny Henderson, Sebastian Mullen-Vinson and Jazmire Mullen-Vinson.
All services will be held privately.
