Ruth Marie Veriopoulos, age 69, of Wilmington, DE, passed away on Monday, January 5, 2026.
Born in Wilmington, DE, on July 26, 1956, she was a daughter of Marie D. (Taylor) Neeman and the late Gerald Neeman. Ruth and her husband, George were the proud owners of the European Bistro in Wilmington.
Ruth is survived by her husband of 40 years, George Veriopoulos; children, Antonia Veriopoulos and Gerald Veriopoulos; sister, Catherine “Cat” Neeman; niece, Cameo Harrington; and canine companions, Ares and Apollo.
A graveside service will begin at 3 pm on Monday, January 12, 2026, in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE.
