Born June 24, 1940
Sharon Ann Burnham, age 77, of Newark, DE, passed away peacefully, while surrounded by her loving family, on Monday, October 9, 2017.

Sharon is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Lawson D. Burnham; children, Kelly Bacon (Joseph) and David Burnham (Kimberly); brothers, Jack Kane (Olive) and Joseph Kane (Catherine); 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

My heart and prayers are with you all in your great loss. Sharon was a great friend in our teen years and elder years too. I have to smile when I think of some of the crazy things we did and so glad I have those memories. You will be greatly missed not only by your family, but your friends too
Mary Jane & Jim Bacon
Your mother truly was beloved by all who were blessed enough to just be in her presence. Know that we loved her and all she stood for, beautiful, spiritual, family first and a loving person. We now see her dancing and singing Irish songs together with mom Bacon and all her friends and family waiting for her. May your hearts be healed knowing she is now free of pain and will forever be your star of strength hope, faith and love.
Dear Dave and the Burnham family sorry I cannot be there with you tomorrow but please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and Sharon. We all loved her and will miss her forever. may God bless you all.
