Sharon Marie Ceraso

Sharon Marie Ceraso, age 76, of Newark, DE, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, December 16, 2025.

Sharon was born in Ridley Park, PA on March 2, 1949. She dedicated her life to caring for her family as a homemaker.

Sharon was very creative and enjoyed making beautiful scrap books and floral arrangements. She could often be found sewing or working on her latest cross stitch. In her younger years, Sharon loved to go bowling. She spent her youth living at the Jersey Shore with her grandparents where she enjoyed boating and water skiing.

Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, James Charles Ceraso; and son, Michael Anthony Ceraso. She is survived by her sons, James Ceraso (Susan) and Steven Ceraso (Amy); grandchildren, David, Ashley, James, Jeffrey, Jacob, Steven Jr., and Autumn; and 8 great-grandchildren.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 11 am on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 West Park Place, Newark, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 11 am. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery, 6001 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE.
