          Sharon R. Barbizzi, age 64, of New Castle, DE, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2019.

          Born in Wilmington on February 16, 1955, she was a daughter of the late Roy D. and Irene T. (Wyszynski) Carmine. Sharon made her career as a customer service representative for DuPont.

          In her leisure time, she enjoyed shopping, cooking and bowling. Sharon loved cheering on her favorite football teams and taking trips to the beach. Above all else, she adored spending time with her family and friends.

          Sharon is survived by her husband of 30 years, John J. Barbizzi; brother, Kevin Roy Carmine; niece and nephew, Kristan and Jason Carmine; and great nieces and nephews, Julian, Eddie, Angel, Isabella, Antonio and Trinity Carmine.

          A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 11 am on Thursday, October 31, 2019, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Highway, New Castle, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 11 am.  Interment will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE.
