Sharon S. Morris, age 63, of Punta Gorda, FL, passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2021.

Born in Wilmington, DE on October 15, 1958, she was a daughter of the late William and Nellie (Morris) Sharpe. Sharon worked for Stewart Title, was a licensed Real Estate Agent and was the Marketing Director, event planner, travel planner for Fish Head Music for her late husband James E. Morris, Singer, Songwriter. Sharon also worked in Banking, Mortgages. She also enjoyed traveling the world to such places as Tahiti, Costa Rico, Belize, Southern Caribbean islands, Kenya Africa, Cancun Mexico.

In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her late husband, James E. Morris; and brothers, James Sharpe and Michael J. Sharpe. Sharon is survived by her siblings, Robert J. Sharpe, Sr. (Barbara), Raymond H. Sharpe, Sr. (Barbara) of New Castle, DE and Connie Morrell (Bob) of Cape Coral, FL; and 8 nieces, nephews and great nephews.

A visitation will be held from 6 pm until 7 pm on Friday, January 14, 2022 at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE. A memorial service will begin at 10 am on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Immanuel Episcopal Church on the Greene, 50 Market Street, New Castle, DE. Face coverings will be required for all those in attendance regardless of their vaccination status. Interment will follow in Glebe Cemetery, New Castle, DE.

  • So sorry to here of Sharon’s passing. We had hoped to meet her in person someday. We bought hers and Jim’s home in Punta Gorda but never had the pleasure of speaking to her in person. Everyone in the neighborhood who remembered them always spoke of them fondly.
