Sheri Lynn Fulmer - Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Homes & Crematory

Sheri Lynn Fulmer

August 6, 1967 - November 19, 2024

Sheri Lynn Fulmer, age 57, of New Castle, DE, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 19, 2024. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Wilmington, DE on August 6, 1967, she was the daughter of Norman George and Pat (Gray) McCallister. Following graduation from William Penn High School, Sheri went on to work for DuPont and ICI.

She was a loving mother and was blessed to be able to stay at home with her children. Sheri was a caring mother who raised her children with unwavering dedication and was greatly involved in her children’s activities.  She loved taking them on adventures, whether it was to Disney World or Myrtle Beach.  The beach was her happy place.

Sheri was a Godly woman who loved the Lord and gave Him credit for every blessing in her life, no matter how small. She enjoyed watching Hallmark Christmas movies, no matter the time of year. As an avid sports fan, Sheri never missed an opportunity to cheer on her Philadelphia sports teams. Most of all, her big heart and caring nature touched the lives of everyone she met. Sheri will be dearly missed by all who loved her.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Willliam “Bill” Fulmer. Sheri is survived by parents; her two children, Taylor Axelsson (Kristian) and Ryan Fulmer (Brook); step father, Mac McCallister; step mother, Jan George; brothers, Chuck (loving sister-in-law Karen) and Matthew George; step sister, Becki Raspe; and nieces and nephews, Andrew, Jamie, Matthew, Madeline, Emma; and Audrey.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 9 AM until 9:45 AM on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at Middletown Baptist Church, 419 Armstrong Corner Road, Middletown, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 9:45 AM. Interment will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 North DuPont Highway, New Castle, DE. Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life at the McCallister residence following interment.
