Sheryl Yvonne Tucker

Sheryl Yvonne Tucker, age 73, passed away peacefully in Milford, DE, at Milford Place Assisted Living Facility on Monday, May 5, 2025.

Born on April 23, 1952 in Milford, DE, she was the oldest of four children born to the late H. Franklin and Ella Tucker. Sheryl graduated from Milford High School in 1970 and began her long-term employment with Playtex as a key puncher. After retiring from Playtex, she enjoyed a quiet life in Smyrna, DE.

Sheryl enjoyed music and playing different instruments. Also, she enjoyed making crafts and Search A Word. Sheryl will truly be missed by those who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, Sheryl was preceded in death by her beloved brother, James Edwin “Ed” Tucker (Diane). Sheryl is survived by her sisters, Frances Foland of Scholfield, WI and Thelma Ardis (Grant) of Salisbury, MD; nieces, Kristina Foland (John Lam), Patricia Foland Cerrato, and Haleigh Ardis; nephews, Brian Foland (Fern) and James Edwin Tucker Jr. (Emily); and great nieces and nephews.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 11 am on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 275 East Main Street, Middletown, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 11 am. Interment will follow in Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington, DE.
