Shirley Lucas, age 98, of Wilmington, DE, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2024.

Born in Landenberg, PA on May 17, 1925, she was the daughter of the late George R. and Hazel (Weaver) Harkins. Shirley worked as a billing clerk in the healthcare field. She was a long-time resident of Gilpin Hall for over 30 years.

In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her loving husband, Alfred R. Lucas.

Services will be held privately.
