Sieglinde Hummel Elischer

Sieglinde Hummel Elischer, age 81, of Middletown, DE passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Friday, December 10, 2021.

Born in Weingarten, Germany on April 24, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Hugo and Elisabetha (Schliefer) Hummel. Sieglinde dedicated her life to her family as a talented homemaker. She enjoyed dancing, cooking, attending various German Clubs throughout the world, traveling, and skiing. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Sieglinde was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Paul Elischer; brother, Helmut; and sister, Erika. She is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Hendrixson (Roger), Monica Elischer, and Susan Elischer; grandchildren, Ryan, Alyssa, Brianna, and Kayla; and two great-grandsons, Nova and King.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, December 20, 2021, in Old Bohemia Cemetery, 455 Church Road, Warwick, MD.
