Stephanie S. Jester, age 52, of Newark, DE, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024.
Born in Wilmington on March 5, 1971, she was a daughter of Suzanne (Bell) McCall and the late Ernest C. Schofield, Sr. Steph worked as a waitress at Newport Plaza Diner and in her leisure time, she enjoyed cooking, crocheting and shopping.
In addition to her father, Steph was preceded in death by her brother, Ernest C. “Ernie” Schofield, Jr. She is survived by her mother; children, Brandon D. Jester (Brooke), Jonathan M. Jester (Laryssa Crosby) and Sabrina N. Ward; brother, Kevin Schofield (Eva); significant other, Jeff Dabulis; grandchildren, Isabella, Rylie, Jonathan, Jr., Kane and Caleb, Jr; and husband, David J. Jester.
Services and interment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Steph’s memory to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Very sorry for the familys loss, all our loss my wife and like Stephanie alot and enjoyed the time we spent with her when she stayed with us. I always thought she had a great sense of humor she was kind generous and a reallt goid person sge will be missed. May God rest her soul.
