Tamara T. “Tammy” Priestley, age 65, of Millsboro, DE, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024.

Born in Wilmington, DE on December 4, 1958, she was a daughter of the late James J. and Elizabeth (Berghof) Walker. Strong in her faith, Tammy was a proud member for many years of the Holy Family Catholic Church.

Tammy was an extremely nurturing and caring woman, which showed through in her interactions with both animals and people. She loved animals and was great with infants/children. Tammy’s children admired how involved she was in the PTA when they were younger. She loved to vacation to Myrtle Beach, SC and had a humorous side to her that was unmatched. Above anything else, Tammy cherished the memories she got to make with her family.

In addition to her parents, Tammy was preceded in death by her brothers, James Walker and Erik Walker. She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Michael A. Priestley, Sr.; children, Nicole N. Priestley-Magana and Michael A. Priestley, Jr.; grandsons, David M. Priestley, Michael A. Priestley III and Aaron Priestley; great-granddaughter, Baylee Priestley; siblings, Janice Reuling (Richard), Colleen Lenoir (Jack), Brian Walker and Shawn Walker; and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:30 am until 11:30 am on Friday, March 22, 2024, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 15 Gender Road, Newark, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 11:30 am. Interment will be held privately.
